Katie and Travis (my niece and nephew) came to stay with us for a week and we had a great time. One highlight was rafting down the Boise river. We counted at least 4 rough rapids probably coming in at a class 1 maybe 2 but to the kids they were more of a 6/U (which is unrunnable). It took about 3 hours and one of the highlights was going under the bridges by Boise State with all of the fans dressed in Blue and Orange heading to the football game.
Katie, Hanna, Sara, and Travis heading for rough waters.
Getting ready to go with sunscreen and bugspray.
Carter giving us the business about wearing a hat, lifejacket, sunscreen, etc.
Princess Allie who wanted to jump in and swim the whole time and was not too excited about just sitting in the boat. We did jump in several times, just not enough for her taste.
The front of our boat. Notice no pictures of Scott - thats because we still haven't found our camera so these pictures are off of Scott's cell phone.

Thats amazing for cell phone pictures...wow. How did the kids do with the rapids? Were they scared?
Well we are here for the blessing and will see you all tomorrow. Yes the cellphone takes pretty good pictures. Sounds like you are settling right in and that is good. I love Boise and I'm sure you will too. It's a lovely little city. Love you all and thanks for posting. xoxoxoxxo
Sounds like you are doing well. Sometimes moving can be hard, but sometimes not. Keep us updated.
Misty!! How's Idaho treating you??
Looks like fun!! I am glad you guys are full of adventure. I makes up for my lack.
Hi Misty, I found your blog through Karen Grady's. Glad to see that you are getting all moved in. Good luck in Idaho! You have a beautiful family.
Love, Sundee Brindley Yardley
OK...OK...You've played the "We just moved in" and "My camera is broke" cards long enough!!! I want to see the house, the yard, the kids' rooms, the living room, I've been patient long enough, now I'm demanding a post...
-sincerely,
