This year for Thanksgiving my parents took the whole family (which is now 37 people -24 grandkids) to the Homestead by Park City. It was so much fun and the food was amazing. Scott had mostly crab legs for dinner. Hanna said, "mom I love this place!". I think that was when she was headed to the dessert table.
Carter said he didn't want dinner, just root beer. And he brought a string cheese from our room. String cheese/crab legs its a tough decision for a two year old.
These two look like they've eaten their fair share!
Everyone I could grab for a picture as we were leaving.

Thanksgiving

After Valley of Fire we went for an ice cream cone and played at Grandma's house. Hanna and Sara got some fun new jump ropes that play music so you can jump to the beat. Sunday morning we went to church and saw some of Scotts friends from high school and then we headed home. It was such a fun weekend!

Allie and Carter spend a lot of time jumping on the trampoline when Hanna and Sara are at school.

Allie, Carter, and their cousin Kaden love to hang out and eat apples.
We had a combined family night with Wayne, Joe, and Susan's families raking up leaves for my Grandpa. Everyone had fun and grandpa was so happy!

Halloween
We had a blast for Halloween this year. Hanna went as a surgeon, Sara as a witch, Allie as a rainbow fairy, and carter as a bee. Scott dressed up as a hippie and then made fun of me for loaning out my witch costume. So I dug through the basement and found a little something from highschool. I figured with pigtails it could be a costume.
Allie went to the dentist that afternoon and half of her mouth was still asleep. I love this picture and the excitement on her face!

Scott and I haven't travelled much in the past nine years. But we feel like we are making up for it this year. We have left our kids a couple of times and taken our kids a couple of times. Scott had a conference in San Francisco on August 18th and I went with him for the weekend. We did all of the usual tourist things. Cable Cars...
Fisherman's Wharf where we loved watching these sea lions...
Lombard Street...
The aquarium full of sharks and eel, etc...
And just had a blast hanging out! Sometimes its fun to remember what life was like before we had kids, but then we miss them too much and can't wait to get home to them.
Cute Allie - She is 4 now and starting preschool next week. She still loves to play dress-ups, but now she spends more time with the kitties and painting.
Sara is so funny and loves to put on a show. She was dancing and singing and making me laugh so hard I had to take a picture.
Hanna is practicing her photography skills and loves to take pictures. As you can see I am happier about posing than Carter is.
The first day of school. Sara is going in to 1st grade and so excited about staying at school through lunch time. She picked out this favorite outift and was really excited about the matching shoes and head-band.
Hanna is a seasoned 2nd grader, not as nervous or excited. She is really excited about her new backpack that hangs over one shoulder.
Well, I am not a cat person and neither is Scott, but that doesn't matter because we now have 7 cats living in our garage. Our kids are crazy about them and we hate to admit it, but we think they are pretty cute. On July 24, 2007 Syrup had 5 kittens and we have a 9 month old kitten named Waffles. We will definately give them away when they are 8 weeks old, but they are really fun for now.
This is oatmeal and Syrup.
This is Coco and Allie
This is scrambled eggs, burnt bacon, and french toast. Scrambled eggs loves to climb.

Playing on the "beach" at Redcliffs
Sara is just about to lose her front 2 teeth. What a cute smile!
Carter and mom getting home from church
Hanna's science project - pretty well done for a 1st grader
May 5th - Carter's 2nd birthday. The 4-wheelers were a present and he couldn't wait to get them off of the cake.
Scott and Misty went on a Cruise in March with Mari and Jim Burgess and Michael Johnson and his dad Norm. We all had a great time. The kids stayed home with Grandma's, Aunts, and cousins. This is a favorite tourist posing spot in Costa Maya, Mexico.
Scott was Elvis on the final night in the show for the whole ship. He was great with backup dancers and everything
